careful about what you post online, especially if you’re under 18. All it takes for someone to find out your birthday is to look at the date in the article. I’ve also seen a general lack of concern for privacy recently, and want to point out there is nothing
stopping a troll or predator from looking at your personal accounts or stalking you – and that these threads are picked up by search engines or permanently saved in sites like the Web Archive, where anyone can see them. As I said in the “ Let’s talk about internet safety!
” thread, while we’ll do everything in our power to protect wikiHowians, our hands are tied as soon as it leaves wikiHow.
