Some of the error codes don't match the solution. What should I do?
So, your Whirlpool Cabrio washer is a part of a series, meaning there are older and newer versions. That means there are older and newer versions. In that sense, the error codes tend to change concerning various models and dates when they are assembled. To find the exact error codes concerning your machine, you can do a couple of things: start by looking for the owner's manual that came with your washer. It would list all the error codes and what they are trying to tell you. If not, an internet search for error codes specific to your model of Cabrio may provide the information, and the best way to get accurate information is to find the technical sheet for your specific model. If you don't have your owner's manual, the model number is sometimes buried underneath a sticker somewhere on the appliance.
Should I connect my dishwasher to the garbage disposal?
Yes, I highly suggest connecting your dishwasher drain hose to the garbage disposal. But make sure you remove the plug or knockout from the disposal. Because if you don't, the dishwasher won't drain properly. Also, check your cabinets and countertops for any holes that rodents could squeeze through. Seal them up to prevent pests from entering your appliances.
How much of an allowance should I allot for my oven?
For most ovens and free-standing ranges, meaning those that combine a cooktop and oven, are 30 inches wide. This means your cabinet cutout should be just a little bigger—around 30.5 to 31 inches—for easy install and removal. For built-in ovens, however, their size is very specific, and their installation requirements are different. Due to the wide variety of built-in models, for the exact installation, I highly suggest you refer to manufacturer directions or consult an expert.
