Studying the Countries

Why is it important to know the countries of the world? Learning about other countries is super important! It gives us a better understanding of the world, including different cultures and different nations’ relationships with one another and with the natural world, both in the present and in the past. It can also help us understand ourselves better: through studying geography, we gain a better understanding of how our culture differs from and intersects with cultures from other places, as well as the relationship between ourselves and the natural world. Studies show that having a solid grasp on world geography and studying other cultures can help you be a more intelligent, empathetic, insightful, and well-rounded individual.

Why remember where each country is when you can just look it up on your phone? The question of our times. Why remember anything at all when you can just look it up on your phone? First of all, not everything is Googleable, and second of all, being reliant on your phone just makes you more susceptible to false information. Knowledge is power, people.
