Insecurity comes from believing a false story about yourself—that you're less than, unlovable, or not good enough. But your true self knows that’s not true. Sometimes these beliefs come from things people told us growing up. I had a client whose dad always said her friend was prettier and more athletic than her. She internalized that and carried the belief that she was unlovable and ugly. That’s how insecurities are born—from lies our minds repeat until we believe them. I'm glad that you don't believe the results of this quiz at face value!

Lately I haven’t thought I was insecure but when I got my results they made sense. For example I actually do think im bad at everything, I actually do compare myself to others a lot. I don't even know what to think anymore

I have ADHD, so the quiz telling me that I am insecure made me go into full panic mode. I feel like a bad person. Thank goodness that I have my therapy session in 3 hours (10 am). Being a 19 year with ADHD is not easy.

It says that I am "likely insecure", I have high social insecurity which means that when I feel down, it almost feels like a panic attack whenever I get rejected by someone, like I did something wrong to make them mad, so much so that whenever I get rejected, I almost always run into the restroom and start crying and thinking of what it went wrong.

Me too! I don't really feel insecure, but the quiz told me "Your likely insecure". I am not insecure, I just don't sugarcoat things, I keep visiting reality from time to time and I know that many people are better than me in lots of things and that I could be better at stuff, I have never really felt insecure

it might be the way you give it to yourself, for example, if you saw someone doing better, you could think 'oh wow, look how good they are, I want to be as good as them!' or you could be like 'omg, they're so much better than me! aarrrggghhh, why can't I be just like them? *tantrum, childish foot-stomp, pout-y face, arms crossed*
