If you’re in the United Kingdom and have an issue with any Google product, there are unfortunately no general phone numbers or email addresses that Google has provided publicly. Instead, you must use Google's support pages to get the ability to contact Google by phone (though a call back), via online chat, or by email. We go over how to contact Google UK, including contacting them for legal purposes, press inquiries, or complaints over Google Payments.
How do you phone Google customer support in the UK?
Unfortunately, Google does not have a customer service phone number to connect you with a live person in any region, including the UK. To contact Google UK, click Contact Us, if available, on the Google UK support page. From there, you may see the option to call, chat with, or email someone at Google.
Steps
-
Search for your issue in the Google Support menus first. Visit the Google support page and click on the application that you’re having an issue with. Browse through the common problems and suggestions to see if your issue is listed. If it is, click on the option and follow the directions to fix it. If you still can’t find your issue, then try searching for it in the search bar at the top of the window. [1] X Research source
- You can find Google Support at support.google.com/ .
- The support menus list the most common issues or complaints that Google receives, so your specific problem may not be listed.
-
Check the community forums to see if anyone else has had similar issues. After clicking on the Google application that’s giving you trouble, look at the top left corner of the window for the "Community" option. Click it to enter the community forums where other people have posted their issues. Browse and search through the community forums for the issue you’re having to see if someone else has posted about it, and check the comments for any solutions. [2] X Research source
- Sometimes official Google support specialists will respond to posts in the community forums with helpful fixes or links to help you.
- If you don’t find your issue, you can write a new forum post so others can find it as well. Don’t post any private account information in your post since it will be publicly displayed.

Click the "Contact Us" button on your issue if it’s available. The button will be in the upper-right corner of the page, next to the outgoing link to the service or product you're looking at the support page for.
- Not every issue listed will have a "Contact Us" button, so you may need to select a different issue that’s related to what you’re experiencing.
-
Type out what your issue is. Keep the sentence short if possible. For example, if your Google Fi isn't working, write "Google Fi is not working."
-
Choose the best description of your issue from the options presented. After typing in what your issue is, you'll be prompted to choose from a list of options Google generates based on what you type. Choose an option that matches your issue.
-
Choose a contact method. Depending on your issue, you may have the option to Get a call , Chat , or Email . If Google decides that your issue does not meet the correct criteria, however, you'll be prompted to look through the community forums.
- If you fill out the form for one issue but then try to get help with a different issue, Google may not be able to help you.
-
Submit a Legal Request form to report or remove content from Google. You can submit a legal request if you find anything against the law or abusive to another person, and Google will review the content to possibly remove it from their sites. Select the Google product on the form that you have an issue with, and then choose one of the options from the menu that pops up. Respond to any additional questions the form asks you until it lists a solution at the bottom of the page. [3] X Research source
- The form may redirect you to a different page depending on the issue you have.
- Sometimes, there’s nothing that Google can do until you take further legal action with other involved parties.
-
Fill out a Brand Request form to use Google trademarks. Use the Brand Request Form when you plan on using the Google name, logo, pictures, or products for an event, film, or advertising. Fill out the form with your personal information, the company you work for, and what you plan on using the trademarks for. Upload an image of how you plan to use the trademarks so the Google reviewers can make their decision. [4] X Research source
- For example, you may upload a picture of a banner you plan on making with the Google logo on it for an event.
- If you’re using a Google trademark in a film or TV show, then upload pages of the script that say how the trademark will be used.
-
Send a civil request to Google by mail if you need user data for a legal case. An attorney or an individual involved in a civil legal case can submit a request for user data if it’s important to the case. Write a request letter that specifically states which Google service you’re requesting data for and list any email addresses for the person you need it for. Send the request to: Google LLC; c/o Custodian of Records; 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway; Mountain View, CA 94043; United States of America. [5] X Research source
- Include your email address so Google can respond to you quickly once they receive the request.
- You may be able to find the data associated with your account without a request by going to your account dashboard .
