That's not a good idea. Your washer can really mess up your shoes, leaving them wrinkly. Instead, it's always better to hand-wash your shoes.
  • Question
How do I wash a drawing canvas?
    Community Answer
I don't recommend using dripping water with canvases, because that can make weird marks on the cloth. I do recommend, however, taking a damp towel to get rid of as many marks as you can. Then cover the canvas with titanium white acrylic paint from Windsor and Newton. I really like their paints, and I recommend them as well.
  • Question
Can I take a canvas tote bag to the cleaners to have them clean the mold and mildew out of it?
    Community Answer
Dry cleaning is a chemical process which may affect the dye used on your cotton canvas bag, so this is probably not a good solution. I think an upholstery cleaning tool would be better, as the upholstery tool will spray, then immediately vacuum moisture back out, pulling dirt and odor with it.

You can use mild soap with lukewarm water and a sponge or cloth to clean tent canvas. Let it air dry without direct sunlight.
