  • Question
Can I add my own photos to an existing Wikipedia page?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can add photos as long as it has a licence and it is considered helpful. There may be guidelines and requirements that the photo has to meet.
  • Question
I wish to add my family tree. How do I do that?
    Sasithmadu
    Community Answer
Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, you can't add your personal information to it. Wikipedia articles should be notable enough (meaning that they are widely-covered by independent sources) to get into an encyclopedia. Only if you come from a family notable enough to get into an encyclopedia (or there already exists a Wikipedia article on your family) will your family tree be allowed. Please read the Wikipedia Five Pillars before you contribute.

How do I write a bio for someone and restrict the theme?
    Aasim
    Top Answerer
If you are writing about someone you don't know personally, find reliable sources and request it at WP:AFC. You should not create articles about someone you know, because those often get deleted per A7 and COI.
  • Question
How can I find articles that need editing?
    Corinne Simmons
    Community Answer
On the top of every page, there is a plant icon and it says "help us." If you hover over it, it will come up with a list of suggestions to help them! If you click "More Ideas..." and scroll down, you should find "Edit Articles."
  • Question
How do I avoid making mistakes with templates?
    Community Answer
Some templates, when clicked, show a link to the template's documentation page. These should have the guidelines on how to use the template.
  • Question
What should I do if someone reverts my Wikipedia edits without reason and it wasn't vandalism?
    Community Answer
Visit the user's talk page and politely ask why your edits were reverted without explanation. An explanation is generally required, as the rollback tool might accidentally revert both good and bad edits. It's possible that the person may have been too busy to provide an immediate response but might address your concerns later.
