If my hamster falls off the platform, will he be okay?
    Community Answer
Despite being delicate animals, hamsters are surprisingly resistant to injuries from falling. Most of the time, they will just freeze up for a moment and then continue on with their day with no problem. For safety reasons, keep a close eye on the hamster for the next 24 hours, if they do have any injuries, they should become obvious in that time. If you notice your hamster behaving oddly in any way (limping, hunching posture, pain when touched, unusual aggression, or unusually inactive), contact your vet.

  • Question
Where is the best place to buy a hamster?
    DarkSpearOfJustice222
    Community Answer
In terms of ethics, it's better to buy a hamster from a breeder that you know is responsible and breeds humanely, or adopt one. This is because hamsters from pet stores almost always come from mills. In terms of how healthy they will be and how long they will live, the same is true because mills lead to bad genetics. If you do decide on a pet store though, all of the big name stores sell hamsters that come from mills, so it doesn't make much of a difference which one you go to.

  • Question
What if my hamster falls off the platform?
    Community Answer
It depends on the height of the platform. Usually, they are fine. Check your hamster to make sure they have no injuries. Hamsters are quite bouncy and don't get injured as easily as you would think. Mine have never injured them falling off something.
