    Expert Answer
If you're washing extensions that are bonded to your hair, make sure you avoid scrubbing the bonds when you shampoo your extensions so you don't weaken them. Lift up your extensions and work the shampoo into your scalp and hair underneath, avoiding the bonds.
  • Question
Can I use my Wen products on my extensions?
    Community Answer
No, as using Wen products near the bonds will cause them to slip out. Wen uses oils to clean your hair, which makes it unsuitable for extensions.
  • Question
Can I use my Wen products on my extensions?
    Community Answer
Yes, because most hair extensions are made from real hair. You can really use any shampoo/conditioner on hair extensions.
  • Question
How do I dye my hair when I have a weave?
    Community Answer
Use warm water, and afterward apply conditioner. It's also important to comb through the hair extensions after applying the conditioner for even application, and also to moisturize your tresses. After gently combing through the extensions, wash the conditioner out using cold water.
  • Question
    Can I use L'oreal no-sulfates shampoo?
    Community Answer
Yes. I use that, but every other day or two. I use a dry shampoo on the roots when it starts to looks greasy.
