In this article, we'll help you win the Jellybean Challenge every time by teaching you how to make educated guesses and then how to narrow those guesses down. Keep reading to learn more!

How to do the Webkinz Jellybean Challenge

First, make a guess based on the image you see. Try to guesstimate how many jellybeans are in the jar (if they barely cover the bottom, guess 1,100, if the jellybeans fill half of the jar, guess 5,121, and if the jar looks full, guess 10,000). You can then use the reaction text to narrow down your second and third guesses.

  1. If you go to Today's Activities , the Jellybean Challenge is one of the many random events that can occur. You have three chances to guess how many jellybeans are in the jar. If you win, you get a Jar of Super Jellybeans and a food item. Any incorrect guesses will still earn you 10 KinzCash, however. [1]
    • There are a total of 91 possible jars that you might see. To learn how to tell where to start guessing, check out this section below . You can also learn how to make your guess closer by using the reaction text as a guide.

Using the Image to Make a Guess

  1. If the amount of jellybeans just covers the bottom of the jar, start by guessing 1,100. You can then use the reaction text to adjust your guess to make a better second (and potentially third) guess.
  2. On the jar, there is a label where you'll type your guess. If the amount of jellybeans in the jar is way below this label but above the bottom of the jar, guess 1,600 to start.
  3. If the amount of jellybeans in the jar almost reaches the bottom of the label on the jar, start by guessing 2,300. You can then use the reaction text to make an educated second or third guess.
  4. If the number of jellybeans in the jar is above the bottom of the label but isn't halfway up the side of the jar, start by guessing 3,800.
  5. If the jellybeans are just below the halfway point of the jar, try guessing 4,500. This amount is quite similar to the next guess threshold, but you'll want to use your best judgment to tell if the amount of jellybeans is filling half the jar or not.
  6. While 5,121 is a little over half of the total amount of jellybeans that can be in the jar, the amount of jellybeans in the jar will look like it's filling about half of it. The top of the jellybean mound will also reach the top dotted line on the jar's label.
  7. If the mound of jellybeans in the jar seems to be right at the top of the label on the jar, try guessing 6,300. You can then use context clues based on the reaction text to make your second or third guess.
  8. If the jellybeans have slightly surpassed the top of the label on the jar, start by guessing 7,000. The reaction text will let you know how close your guess is, so you can try to narrow it down.
  9. Near the top of the jar, the sides will narrow. If the mound of jellybeans seems to be getting close to that spot, start by guessing 8,100.
  10. Once the mound of jellybeans hits the narrow part of the jar, your best bet is to start by guessing 8,900. You can then use the reaction text to refine your guestimate.
  11. If the jar is almost full of jellybeans but not completely full, you should start by guessing 9,600. The reaction text will help you make an educated second and third guess.
  12. The jar will be completely full when the amount of jellybeans extends all the way to the cork (you won't see any of the background through the jar). [2]

Make Your Guesstimate Close

  1. The wording changes based on how far off your first guess is, so you can fine-tune your next guess.
    • "Wow, that was way off!": You are 1,000 beans or more off.
    • "You'll need to be closer!": You are 500 to 999 beans off.
    • "Not a bad guess!": You are between 200 and 499 beans off.
    • "Oooo, that was close!": You are 200 beans or under off.
      • For example, if you guess 1250 and get "Wow, that was way off!" try guessing 1350 or 1150 to see if there are more or fewer jellybeans in the jar. You might win on your second guess, or get another clue ( "Oooo, that was close!" ) that narrows down your last guess.
