Today is the 11th year anniversary of 9/11 - When the plains hit the Twin Towers in NYC. I wanted to post this thread in respect for everyone who lost their lives, and dedicate this to Mike ( @Metsguy234 ). Although I’m sure it hurts so much to say, his father passed then. He’ll never be forgotten, and, even though I didn’t lose anyone because of this, a friend has. And maybe someone you know. Pay your respects, in honor for 9/11. June Days

To all who sacrificed their lives that day: You were all great beings, missed by many people living in this planet. I did not lose anyone that day, but it hurts to see or hear about that incident again. Gaurangprasad

I have been ignoring to face this day from time to time. It’s really painful to hear about who lost their lives in this day. Even that I didn’t lose someone that day, but I lost loved 2 people in my life.

Mike: Hopefully you’ll see this. I was watching the 9/11 ceremony and someone said Michael Massaroli…Even though I’m sad he’s gone, I’m happy he was honored. Rest In Peace. =’/ June Days

Very nice thought June. My thoughts go out to Mike and everyone who was affected that day…

In loving memory of those who have passed, In gratitude to the heroic members of the emergency services, In recollection of American patriotism, In respect of said patriotism throughout the rest of the world, And as a warning to all who dare prey on the innocent, We observe September 11th and reflect on the events of this day eleven years before.

Mike: We are all sorry for your loss. I wish I could have some magic words, but I’ve never been that good with words. So, just know that I’m sorry about your dad.

Osama Bin Laden’s goal was to weaken us as a country. I am not surprised he failed and did the complete opposite. Newton’s law does not apply here. Sure Laden’s actions resulted in reactions, but those reactions were far greater than equal. Together we can block the screwed up minds of those who prey on the innocent. Together we create the absolute tallest tower, impenetrable to say the least. For this tower is not built. It is believed. We are united, and we always will be.

I don’t have anything very long and splendid to put here, but I’m proud of our country, and honor those who fell on 9/11. I also honor those families which had direct or distant relatives fall. Losing someone is hard, and I’m sure they had to be pretty tough…

As a nation-we all suffered a great loss that day, 11 years ago. Although I’ve just joined this community, my heart goes out to you, Mike, for your loss. As everyone has said " None will be forgotten! & all of the fallen will aways be honored!"

Man, I can’t remember much about 9/11, I was so young… but it was very saddening, the lives lost, God Bless those who risked their lives for this country.

All gave some, but some gave all.

Thanks for keeping me and all the other families and victims in your thoughts, guys.
