Hello my kind wikiHowians, Over the spand of two weeks, the RC’s been piling up with messages and edits. A lot of those edits, are messages, unfortunately. I’ve been patrolling tons of these messages and, have been a little bit annoyed. To the chatters, please do not chat about non-related wikiHow things. The reason is because it fills up the Recent Changes. If it’s not related to wikiHow, it clogs up the RC and stops us from patrolling and reverting real edits. Please do not get snippy at our users who are trying to help you. If a user tries to help, they’re focusing on the mission. They know what they’re talking about. Because one user talks, doesn’t mean a whole lot of other users should, too. When you do talk, it has new users sidetracked from the goal: To build the largest and highest quality how-to manual in the world
That does not mean to chat, but edit. Have fun editing! That’s why we’ve got the Forums and page designing. Which I might remind everyone, is not the goal either - It’s a fun activity and shouldn’t be your goal. Agreed, I’m sorry for creating some non - related wikiHow things. Now, I avoid that because, I understand how it creates more work for the Recent Change Patrollers. Yes, I have patrolled alot of non - related wikiHow things. It did bug me.
Unfortunately, only a small percentage of the users on wikiHow visit the forums. It is suggested to use the template {{chat}} along with personal messages as the main method of coaching.

Thomas is a wikiHow administrator and Freenode staff. I assure you that he was not being rude. I was there. You were just being immature. Hate to break it to you.
