I wanted to add some links on sites I am most active writing at like my profile page for Hubpages and my career blog. Is that Ok?

Yes. Putting them on your user page is fine and encouraged. Adding them to the articles is not! Thanks for asking!
Yes! Like June said click on the edit button. Just on you’re user page though. If you add them to articles or to other people’s talk pages its considered spam.

As long as you only add websites to your user page, it should be okay. However, I just wanted to add that you might not want to put them on your talk page. Typically, people want to leave you a message on the talk page, not read links. To add a link, just copy/past the .html link onto your profile or main user page. Does this help?
