Hello, I would just like to say that I Disagree with anonymous users, Well I think it is a great idea but when I look at anonymous users editing I see that they are : Using foul language, nasty comments. I could name even more but that really hurts my feelings and others Too. I like Wikihow very much to the ground to the sky, But having anonymous users makes it to the Sky to the Ground. We should have a indestructible vandalizing Policy. If you go against me here is my proof. Look at this article called how to have a fight and look at the discussion Page.
See this page
for information on why we allow anonymous users to edit.

How to Have a Fight doesn’t exist as an article. If you were talking about the article How to Fight, I don’t see anything wrong with the discussion page or any mean comments on it. http://www.wikihow.com/Discussion:Fight
Anonymous users are also helpful. Some made great edits and helpful articles. We all were anonymous users too. Some people were anonymous users and made helpful edits, and then logged in. There are some regular users who use foul language too. If someone didn’t want an account, but still edit in good faith, they would log out and still edit in good faith. Try reading the article WritingEnthusiast linked above.
It’s important to understand that not all anonymous users vandalize. Many vandals have accounts, and also many of wikiHow’s best articles have been started or vastly improved by anonymous users. The golden rule of all wikis is to assume good faith.
I agree, but can it be a rule that only registered users can upload pics? I was on pic patrol recently and there was a large number of photos of people in lingerie for “take erotic photos of yourself”. Apparently they think this is Pinterest or something. (Sorry for bad grammar and spelling but have you ever tried to comment on forums on an iPhone keyboard?)

No, because anonymous users add a lot of good content to the site - photos included. The ones that don’t, their images can be removed (that’s why we have Picture Patrol). I don’t see any good reason to keep them from adding content, our most valuable resource, to the site. If you think you see an inappropriate image under “Community images”, click flag on it. That section exists specifically so people can upload photos of their finished work.
I am just asking for a policy. For that reason I disagree with all of you for example Anonymous users can do amazing stuff but you never know how about if they hack other users by their social media or vandlize this website. The policy I am asking for is very easy all wikihow needs to do is ask someone very smart and energitic to just see all of the kinds of Anonymous users that had been doing bad stuff. See this is what we call a good plan because now all the good Anonymous users can hopefully make wikihow better then all the bad anonymous users can be deleted of what they have done and maybe learn a lesson or a theme to stop.

Sorry, but I don’t follow your plan. Anonymous editors can edit on wikiHow - that is not going to change. Patrollers can revert the bad edits. If you are concerned about the quality of the anonymous edits, jump in and start patrolling. Otherwise, there is likely not going to be a change to the policy.
TL:DR No new policy will be implemented. End of discussion.
Agreed. Can someone close this?
So, are we just going to sit around and complain about how malicious and nasty anonymous users are, or are we going to do something about it? Click this link
to actually help fight the vandalism.
