So it started happening when I caught a user going against the exlinks policy, I tried to let them know about the policy by {{exlinks}} and all of the sudden the message would not post on the talk page so I went back to the Dashboard right? And I hovered over the RCP and it said “Oops! You don’t have enough experience to do this action yet!” When I have been on 4 months on wH! I tried logging out and refreshing and it did nothing! Help… @JayneG You are good at these…:face_exhaling:

Though I’m unsure what happened, I sent them the exlinks template. However, other users sent personal messages without trouble regarding the link too.

@EpcotMagic Thanks for emailing me, yes I don’t know what had happened on my side, I am on a different computer since my other one died…:confused:
Let me try again now, i think it is fixed.
Update: Nope, it is still locked…:confused:hmm…

@Ayame_thestorm Can you please go to your user page and confirm that you’re definitely logged into this Adelaideslement3432 account? It sounds like you might either not be logged in, or using a different account.

No I am not using a different account, and I am logged into this one, and still the same result…:sweat:

@Ayame_thestorm When you tried to post the message on that user’s talk page, the ★ in your display name inadvertently triggered a spam filter which prevented the message from sending and also removed some of your permissions. I have restored your permissions, so you should be able to use RCP now. If you still can’t, please ping or send me a message.

I would also recommend that you change your display name to remove the star and other symbols to avoid future issues. (Generally it’s better not to have those symbols in your username/display name in the first place, due to both software limitations and visual aesthetics).
