Ok this may not sound like a big deal, but I’m feeling really anxious rn and I don’t know what to do. I have to speak in front of the church for like, 1 minute, but I still feel worried that I’m gonna mess up. Idk why I feel this way, because I wanted to be involved in church more, but now that I finally get the chance, I can’t do it! Someone help me, please. What do I do?

Something I’ve learned through trial and error: often, the fear of something turns out to be a lot worse than the something.

It’s ok to be nervous. Just try to work around it and not let it get in the way of what you need to do.

You could even pass a little comment while you’re talking about how it’s your first time, so you feel nervous. Everyone will understand that completely, and it helps if the audience knows what you’re having trouble with and can give emotional support, and they’ll understand if you mess up a little bit.

The main thing is focusing on why you’re up there in the first place!

You have my prayers and best wishes.

@TheYoungWriter thank you so much for caring and your advice. I’ll definitely use it next time. I got through it just fine even though I messed up multiple times. Once again, thanks! :)

No problem!

=)

Well, you didn’t need me at all, then ;D See, you did awesome all by yourself!

My pleasure:wink:

One quote from Still 17 drama just came in my mind. Hope it helps you somewhat: “Come on. Don’t be weak. You’re nervous because you have too much on your mind. Just do as you feel. “Don’t think, feel.” Okay?”
