Hi all, I’ve noticed the recent backlog on Tips Patrol, Fix Spelling, and Add Videos. It would be great if we could all, as a community, work to bring down these figures. The Add Videos section has always been high, but the Fix Spelling part has just passed the 12,000 mark. For the record, at the time of posting the figures were as follows: 88,139 videos needed (Stormy weather) 12,894 articles to spell check until goal (Stormy Weather) 27,113 tips remain (Stormy Weather)
Realize that some of these figures aren’t the real full numbers. If you open up the Answer Requests app, you’ll find that there are over 400,000(4.0x10^5) articles that need to be answered or created. I’ve tried to help in Video Adder, but I can’t seem to be the only one in there. For every 100 I’ve tried “adding”, another 300 get added to the app, so that number never seems to decrease below 87,000. Lots more contributors would help… But right now, I’ve moved on to bigger and better things that only NABers and Admins have rights to do. Method Editor (after the Method Guardian user selects “Send to Editing” we add the method or quick edit it to move it as another substep, Tip or whatnot, to make that method “work”) I’ve never been one to really use the Tips Adder, but the same story that resides with Video Adder, also resides with Tips, in my viewpoint!
