This is my Being popular project. You all are invited to come to it!!

Have you started a page? If it’s on wH, about articles, I’d be glad to help - However, popularity is definitely not the goal of wikiHow.:wink:June Days

What are the goals of this project? Is it to make editor(s) popular, or to improve articles and make them popular? I had a look at your project page: http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:BeingPopular and I believe it is about making people popular on wikiHow. If it is about editors: Editors get popular because of the quality of their work. There are many editors who work very hard both, in real life as well as wikiHow and thus they earn the respect of the community. While, there are many editors who work on one specific task. For example, you can find Ttrimm (Teresa) boosting new articles (she is just amazing at it!), Dave working on articles tagged as copyright violations, Maluniu working on Deadend pages (by adding related wikiHows), BR (Bob) patrolling recent changes, and many many more. People put it a lot of work to make wikiHow a better place to be in. I am not at all against this project. I would wish you all the best in this project and I would be ready to help you and/ or this project with anything I can. But, popularity comes with effort (and work)! If this is about making articles popular: Articles achieve popularity if they are well-written, informative and useful to the community. A well-written new article is usually selected as a Rising Star. If an article has been very well-written with clear images, and precise instructions, they are nominated to be featured. All I can say is good luck for this project!

Gaurang has a *super good* point. If this is about making the wH people popular, then, I’m sorry to say, you’ve got the wrong idea about how this works. Everyone’s an equal here, no one’s more popular than another, and trying to work at it, like patrolling or adding relateds, isn’t good if you’re rushing - Just so you can be popular. I have however, seen a million articles about popularity while patrolling, if it’s an actual project on wH articles, I’d be glad to help. P.S. Getting a confirmation that you can “be in the club” isn’t exactly how it’s done.:wink:June Days

I can barely read the page. Can you change the colors? And you never really explained what you do in this project, which you call a “club” at the end. We do not need clubs on wikiHow. Take a look at my project ( http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Nail-Art-Project ) for ideas.
