So for the new redesign, it’s really hard to get to the forums and you can’t read people’s articles anymore! For that, wikihow has lost it’s purpose.

The redesign is only for mobile, which before didn’t have any forums or user/talk page options at all (if you were seeing those on your mobile device, you were actually on the full site, not the mobile one). If you want to see the full site from your device again, just click on the menu (the three bars on the left-hand side, at the top) and then select “Desktop View” from the bottom, and you’ll see the full site instead. Does that help?

Pffft! For a moment there, I thought you were calling for the old blue/white design with the book!
Actually, I liked the old main site design (I mean the one from last year, not the picture above me).
New design is not so hard in fact i love it a lot.The look and the sections are really good.

Call me old fashioned, but in my humble opinion, the old design was better than this one. It had this serenity and professionalism to it, which the new design lacks. Just my opinion, of course.

True, but you can’t actually edit in Wayback Machine.
A. It’s better than nothing. B. SnowCrystal’s original post mentioned finding articles and the forums, not editing anything. And for what it’s worth, I’ve gotten used to the redesign. It used to look very Hulu to me, but now I’m okay with it. I’m sure it was changed for a reason, and that it’s being monitored to see how well it’s doing.

I know that Nicole, I was merely stating my opinion. I wasn’t referring to SnowCrystal’s original post at all. I just liked the old design better. Am I not entitled to my opinion?
Yes, You are entitled to your opinion and I’m sorry that you thought my post implied otherwise. I was just trying to explain that I do realize that the Wayback machine doesn’t allow you to edit things and that with redesigns like this, there’s not much you can do other than wait until the next redesign and hope that it’s more to your liking :).

I still remember the notebook theme! That’s what was around when I joined!
I discovered wikiHow a little over a year ago. In fact, I had actually created an account (which I practically never used, since I did more reading than editing). I was unaware that name changes were possible, and I created a new account earlier this year. So, I do remember the previous design.
I remember the old design
I joined wikiHow months before the redesign, and even have screenshots of it on my iPad. However, the redesign is something that takes time to get used to, and I have adapted to it well.
NAB looked very different then! I wish I were around at the time.
