I can’t switch back to guided editing anymore. Everytime i press guided editing, it just goes back to the advanced editing interface.:confused:I use windows 7 and chrome.

If you open the article to edit and see a template {{forceadv}} (I may have it copied wrong, but very similar), it will not allow the page to be edited in guided editing. This template is usually used on articles with codes or tables that do not work with guided editing because of the line spacing or other issues, but it is found sometimes on regular pages. If you link to the article you are trying to edit, someone can actually take a look to see what the problem is.

To add to BR’s comment, the article you’re trying to edit may have subsections. If an article is divided into subsections, it is forced to open in the advanced editor every time.

To add to @BR and @Adelaide1230 ’s comments, there’s also user preference under Editing called “Default Editor”. Make sure this isn’t set to Advanced Editor if you’re ALWAYS seeing the advanced editor too.:slight_smile:
