Browser:Google Chrome 28 Whenever I click [Edit Category] at the bottom of the article, the window opens but instead of the tool for changing the category, I see a JSON encoded array of the categories, as shown below.

The guided editing categorization tool hasn’t worked for me in over a year, I simply get a message I need an updated browser, although the Firefox and IE versions I am using are the latest available for Win7, so I rarely bother except when quickediting, when I “think” I know the correct category of a topic.

Yes same, that’s why I could never ever categorize articles. Thanks to Byanko for categorizing them.
Or, I had to copy the categorization from another article to add it in.

I could use some help finding the category tool.
but thistool works perfectly in my pc. hmmmm…
