I was doing catergorizing on the community board, and it said [No articles to be catergorized, please try again later] I refreshed, and the same thing. Is this a bug or am I doing a tremondous job on catergorizing (heh heh)
This happens to me all the time! It seems to be a bug…
I’ve seen this as well, usually after categorizing for a little bit. I use Google Chrome on a Windows 7 laptop.
Oh, forgot to mention, I use Firefox on an Acer laptop.
I have the same problem at times, but hours later, it let’s me back in, even though I start to see that number begin to rise.

This will happen from time to time, especially for active categorizers, which I believe all of you are. The main reason this occurs is when you skip articles to categorize, they may still be in the queue for categorization, but the tool will no longer show them to you. There can also be a situation where other categorizers are actively editing the few articles left to categorize, so it will appear that there are no articles even if some still appear in the dashboard
Have a suggestion to fix help fix this. Just like Format has it’s own separate list [[category:format]], why can’t we have a list for uncategorized articles that is still like the old categorizer while keeping this new categorizer in place? Or is there a place I’m missing, now that this new categorizer is in place?
Yes. That’s the one. Above and beyond the call. +(whatever number you’d like to choose).
@Krystle
: Problem occurring on the page @AndrewG1999
mentioned. Although I’ve chosen 250 articles on the page, the page now just shows the top 44 articles. The “Next 250” and “Previous 250” both are disabled/are no longer hyperlinks to more articles. I know there are 140 articles in Categorizer, but the list is a bit off from what’s really in there. http://screencast.com/t/gORbIYgrs

@Jordansmall
: After doing only one item, I encountered this error: http://screencast.com/t/97eQslEi5O
So did I, but it usually doesn’t affect the app and disappears after I categorize a few more articles.
it never disappears for me… I thought I’d make them aware of that this issue is happening.
It comes and it goes. (I just noticed @Jordansmall
in that app.) Sometimes it has a problem, and sometimes it goes problem-free.

I’m not able to reproduce the issue after trying a few articles. Could you send me a video screencast of the error appearing while you are categorizing a few articles? This will help me narrow down the issue.
Currently pressed for time in life itself. I’ll try screencasting this a little later, though. Look for a screencast within the next few days.
I tried again, but wasn’t able to produce this same result. however, like I said:
Also, be very careful how you spell my username. Notice that the end isn’t just “o1”. It’s no1. it stands for Yankees and I am a #1
(No 1) fan of them. The b is the first initial of my last name. Nothing major, but I thought I’d like to let you know. I still got the notification.

thanks for keeping an eye out. Ideally, a video screencast would be most helpful if you find it happening again. It also would be helpful to know which article you were categorizing (when you hit the save button) and the resulting new article title if you can’t capture a video screencast.
I’ll tell you the one it happened on, give me one moment.
