Anonymous users usually blank and vandalize pages. And then they can’t be blocked. Someone should make it so that so that you have to be signed in to edit anything.
Anonymous users can be blocked; we just don’t generally block them indefinitely due to the possibility of more than one person using an IP address. And I don’t hate them - anonymous users are actually a very important aspect of wikiHow. Although some anonymous users do blank and vandalize pages, as you mention, others make great edits and upload well-written pages that occasionally get Rising Stars.
