I’m not sure how to describe this problem but I’ll give it a shot. I went in to edit my paragraphs on my wikihow article(the paragraphs were too long and I wanted to break them up to make them easier to read) I did this by placing the mouse curser at the beginning of the paragraph and then I pressed enter to move the paragraph down. In the editing window the text looked fine, however when I clicked preview it looked like the paragraph in question was converted to one long sentence. I’m assuming this has something to do with word wrap. I’m not sure whether there might be some problems with the way my software is communicating with WikiHow’s software or some other issue. I’ve run into this issue before on other websites. Does anybody have any theories on this?

Hello Colin. I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean, but I’ll try. I think what you mean is that enter does not work, but your words are still one paragraph, after enter. This is not an error, this is because of wikimarkup, which does not always look the same after saving as in WYSIWYG. So, what you want to do if you want to divide a step into more than one paragraph, is to use the HTML code for enter: ``For example: "This is one sentence.I now want this line to form a new paragraph." And then it will appear like this after you have saved:“This is one sentence. I now want this line to form a new paragraph.” I hope you understand. But please tell me if this is not what you meant! I assume you are talking about this article: http://www.wikihow.com/Choose-Bedwetting-Diapers-for-an-Older-Child-or-Teenager ?

Hi Writeif, Actually what I want to do is break up my paragraphs in both the tips section and in the steps section. In steps 3,5 and 6 the paragraphs are too long. I want to keep the info in those paragraphs I just want to divide them up so they’re easier to read. Also, the fifth paragraph in the tips section is too long. I also want to divide this paragraph up to make it easier to read. I tried using thecode but that didn’t work.

Hi Colin, Now I understand what you mean. And that is what I meant to explain to you in my first comment, too. And the way to do it is with the code I gave you. Here, I edited your paragraphs to divide them up. You can see what I added here: http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Choose-Bedwetting-Diapers-for-an-Older-Child-or-Teenager&diff=6258972&oldid=6255027 If it is wrong, or if I divided it into the wrong places, we can remove or change it again.
