Did the forum bump rules change in the last year? I have been on ‘break’ for the past yeear because my work has been so hectic, and I notice some weird shaenanigans going on in terms of thread bumping having some new rule. Did I miss anything in the last year?
Not from what I recall - it really just varies how much it’s enforced at any given time. We just don’t want old threads to be bumped because it causes more recent threads to sink, meaning fewer people will see them
What I really don’t like is when an old thread can be seen in the forums. I remember seeing several threads that have a latest comment a few weeks old.
If it’s months old and has pretty much no relevance anymore, it gets closed when bumped.
