…cause why not!
Talk about any girl stuff and troubles (whether that be about “that time of the month”, boy trouble, etc.)This is for chatting, but keep it on topic and about a specific trouble someone posts about.
General wikiHow rules always apply. No swearing, being rude, etc.

Cool! A topic for girls. Well then, I hate it when my PMS starts first before my official time of the month, but it is normal though, istg I wish I was a boy instead…

Yessss! And just periods in general lolSpotting is also the worst. Like, why should I have to worry about blood before it’s that time?
Speaking of, I just started mine
Also, I envy the people whose periods are a week long or shorter

Mine is starting to end, yeah me too. Ooh girl, you just started? Heating pads always help with the cramps

They help most people but for some reason don’t help me (this is my second year of having them and I’ve tried heat pads each time hoping it would somehow work)

I think that’s the normal time for a period, but I do know that ppl bleed for more than a week (even tho that’s not normal). You might want to speak to a doctor about bleeding excessively since that can lead to anemia!
Which is why I take iron supplements. I had slight anemia a few years ago and periods probably made it worse.
Sending more wikiLove over though!

Oh yeah, same! I just get tons of acne before it happens. Boys don’t go through much during puberty, while we have to deal with physical pain during puberty!

Yeah, @Chocolate_Cookies2
and @Ayame_thestorm
, hopefully you guys have some pimple creams/facial cleansers that can help with the acne!
I remember a few years ago, I had just started getting pimples everywhere, and it took a while for me to find the right ointments to put on my face. It was pretty embarrassing since my face was breaking out everywhere! Thank goodness most ppl still wore masks at the time, and I wore one too.
My creams contain benzoyl peroxideand salicylic acid. (got the names from this wikiHow article
)
Also, when I put too much ointment on my face, my sensitive skin stung and hurt. So make sure to do things in moderation!

This is somewhat my acne looks like on both sides of my face. At this point, acne is a normal part of me. I have so many scars and pimples, and this is just a crucial part of my face. “Hey do you know Lia?”
“Who?”“The one with acne.”
“Oh, yeah. Her.”

I guess in this case, I’m lucky as heck! I don’t get very much acne, but in turn my cramps and headaches are extremely bad (also my periods usually last 9 days-)

Ngl I think acne is a weird way to identify someone. There are a lot of other facial/bodily characteristics (like hair texture, hair length, eye shape, freckles, moles, height) to say other than acne.
I think it’s because I’ve seen most people in my schools have acne. In my old school, everyone was going through puberty (at the age where everyone’s hormones are all over the place) so nearly everyone had pimples. Except my friends, idk why though. Their skin was so
smooth and radiant! In my class, out of 25 people, probably a little over half of them had acne. Some a lot more than others. So, it’s a very normal thing!
And nowadays I’ve seen ppl in all my classes have acne, probably around half too. Even though we’re older now (and many of us ended puberty), we still have acne. RIP, I wish it would just disappear!
A lil rant
I’m not really mad about this, but I’m just confused. Whyyy
do only female primates menstruate
? Cats, dogs, and other mammals don’t bleed from their reproductive system once a month. Some animals go into heat, but they don’t have physical pain or mood swings or breast pain and stuff. I think only primates (like monkeys and humans) menstruate, which is crazy to think about!

And the fact that the male population barely has any symptoms of puberty or their reproductive system developing. I know that so many of us females deal w/ this stuff during that time of the month:
- Breast tenderness/pain
- Stomach cramps(I have this too
)
- Indigestion(comes in the form of bloating, constipation, or diarrhea…)
- Menstrual cramps
- Mood swings
- Muscle aches
- Headaches
That’s why I sometimes wonder, “ If I were a boy
”… (reminds me of that Beyoncé song lol)

fr!! i didnt know pain was part of beig a girl!
I’ve been lately having so many mood swings, it’s ridiculous! I haven’t gotten my period yet (my mom only got hers around the age of 15/16), and it’s so annoying!

Ok, enough about periods
… so does anyone else get really insecure about their breasts or is that just me? Like I KNOW they’re all different sizes but it seems like a lot of the girls in school have huge chests and I’m just over here like…

Yess 100%, but I don’t really know what I want-(I’m uncomfortable having breasts but I know I’d be even more uncomfortable not having them-)
