I was sorted into Gryffindor on Pottermore, but I had to choose between that and Hufflepuff. In retrospect, I really wish I had chosen Hufflepuff, but oh well.

I was sorted into Gryffindor House. It was between Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, but I was secretly wishing the Sorting Hat would sort me to Gryffindor and got Gryffindor! And, you spelled “Gryffindor” incorrectly, Mercedes. 

I retook the test by the link Olivia provided and got Gryffindor again!:slight_smile:

Slytherin isn’t bad; they just get a bunch of bad rep because of Voldemort. It’s like Germany’s reputation being tarnished by Hitler; Germany is a great country, and nowadays they’re the most anti-Nazi country in the world, but some people still distrust them because of what happened in WWII.

What does sorted mean? We use sorted to mean that something is solved like a puzzle is sorted or figured out. For people, I thought, it meant clever and mature.

Ravenclaw

Gryffindor

Hufflepuff

Slytherin

 that’s what sorted means in this instance
