The amount of new accounts there are? Yeah I get it, new accounts the better! But these ones edit their profiles that always has that link to their blog/webpage or whatever. Some are also edited in different languages too, and at the end a link to something. Anyone noticed…?

@Sappires they’re spambots… they think that by posting their spam on their user pages they’ll get a higher SEO ranking (Search Engine Optimization) but they couldn’t be more wrong.

I’ve noticed that too and I might sound like a complete idiot, but it seems like they’re just trying to advertise their own business or something. Okay well bye now. :]

Yes, please feel free to mark spambot edits of their own user pages as OK in RC patrol. We are dealing with these spam user pages in an automated fashion so precious volunteer time isn’t needed to manually delete them!
