He is writing multiple topic articles and thinks they should be left together. I disagree, but thought I would ask for help before I just start splitting them. http://www.wikihow.com/User:Vjnisha

http://www.wikihow.com/Make-15-Different-Indian-Dishes - This article should be split into different articles. PS: Really delicious dishes! http://www.wikihow.com/Make-8-Different-Types-of-Cocktails - Should be split too. But, the procedure (or method) for preparing each cocktail is so small.

Every single image that was uploaded is checked as copyrighted, so even if I were to remove them from the articles, they’d look like a list of random things to make. Cocktails can be short and “to the point”, but even if it’s 5-6 small steps, it’s still complete. I do agree with the splits on both.

Yeah right, tasty dishes. The dishes can be split, but I think cocktails should be kept as one article.

I have started separating these articles. They are all but ready to go. I have actually got a Rising Star for one of them, so far. Not guaranteeing one, but it could happen.

@Loni_lings and @Krystle , what do you think?

The articles should stay separate. They are very different from each other.

BTW, I can fix the article.

Hi @Ttrimm ! I think we should aim for specific titles. Readers make split-second decisions about what to click, and “Make 8 Different Types of Cocktails” doesn’t tell someone very much. However, titles like “Make a Cosmopolitan” or “Make a Manhattan” are much more likely to be successful. They tell the reader exactly what’s on the page, and don’t force him or her to dig through extra material. Btw, I agree with @Gaurangprasad and @Shinako — these dishes do sound delicious. =)

@Ttrimm The only time I’d support keeping a list of stuff together is when they all have a specific common thread. For example, “make 15 indian dishes” is so broad, but maybe “make indian dishes with spinach” would be acceptable to me (or “use spinach in indian dishes”). I think “make 8 different types of cocktails” is too broad as well, but something like “make chocolate cocktails” would make sense to me. Even then, though, perhaps we’d want them to link to individual articles, kind of like this one does? http://www.wikihow.com/Use-Apples Anyway, these should be split:slight_smile:Just offering some thoughts on the wider context!

As it turns out, the majority of these are probably copyvios. They are being researched. Any help is appreciated. We can still use them, but there is a little more urgency and they will need to be sourced and reworded.
