For those still in school (like me), what are your hobbies and extracurriculars?
Extracurricularsare classes you take after school. I’ve heard a large amount of people from my school take piano classes (as an example of an extracurricular). Some take educational classes (e.g. Kumon)/go to cram schools. Cram schools are basically tutoring for a bunch of kids. Like, the students are tutored by one teacher in one subject. These are mostly a thing in Asia (China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, India), where students cram/get tutored school material to earn the best grades on tests.
And what do you like doingon the weekends/on breaks such as Thanksgiving break and winter break? Sometimes the extracurriculars you have aren’t really enjoyable- either you grew out of it or the fact that your guardians/parents told you to join it. So what are things you actually like doing?
I know a ton of the boys from my grade level enjoy playing video games such as Overwatch and Valorant. They (yes the same people) like playing a variety of sports, like basketball, American football, and soccer.
Some people enjoy singing and dancing, while others enjoy sketching and painting.
For those out of school, what are your hobbies? What do you do to relax after a long day of work? Or, what do you enjoy doing with your family?
I do piano but I’ve gotten to the point where as long as I have the music infront of me I don’t really need a teacher, so I’m thinking I’ll get this one last book of Christmas songs outta the way and then quit.
For clubs- I do Writer’s Club on Wednesday. I also do Bronco Buddies on Thursday/Friday. Basically us high schoolers (our school mascot is a bronco) go over to the elementary school (which is right across from the high school so very convenient) and spend some time with the little kids. My buddy for the first few weeks was a WICKED artist but she was kinda shy so they ended up pairing me with a different kid… haven’t met him/her yet.
For weekends/breaks I mostly just read/play Minecraft/hang out on the forums. In the summer I’ll sometimes go in our pool

Clubs: On Mondays and Tuesdays I do Choir Club. We have a few performances coming up at the Year 12 Graduation, our local Marketplace re-opening day and Christmas songs for a preschool. On Wednesdays I do debating, this year we were the zone champions. Thursdays I do Newspaper club and on Friday is a free day. I like having lots of stuff on, and I can manage it easily. For debating, I do best as 1st speaker but I don’t mind doing 2nd, 3rd or adviser if I have to. As for Newspaper club I am a writer.

Speaking of choir, I’m going to be in my church’s Christmas choir this year! I don’t know what songs we’re going to sing yet (tomorrow after church is the first rehearsal) but I’m excited

I’m taking a slam poetry club, a Chinese culture class, a calligraphy class, trick riding, and animal sciences. And for spring semester, leadership.
