The garbage disposal stopped working, and the left sink started filling with water (yuck) every time I ran the dishwasher.
So I had a Handyman company come June 30th to give me an estimate for that, and other work. But he mailed me one big estimate for all the jobs in late JULY for … wait for it… $1,120. OMG… what?! Is that disposal gold plated?! I asked him to break up the estimate per job, like he was supposed to do. I’m STILL waiting for revised estimates. And, they said they aren’t scheduling for 4 weeks AFTER I accept an estimate.
I called another company, who came today. New garbage disposal and installation, fix a dry-rot leak, and connect it better… total cost, around $250. Will do the work this

That Handyman was trying to scam you. You can buy a whole new garbage disposal for far less than $1,000 (a decent one goes for about $100). I would not call them again! I would also maybe consider writing a review about them on Yelp and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

. Part of the work was to cover a window with plastic. The bay window has vinyl trim between the windows-- his estimate had putting 3ml plastic!! up with staples!!! Can’t do either thing! 3 millimeter thickness won’t let me see out… and staples will damage vinyl. I always use 3M brand outdoor plastic / tape… works perfectly. And I knew usual costs for disposal and labor… so, no way would I use this guy.

The other day, i texted my friend a spotify group session link. Eventually after about four hours i forgot i still was running the group session and then my friend joined. And best of all, my friend then started playing a meme playlist xD
