I was writing an article and looking at other web pages for reference. When I clicked back on the page, all of my work was gone, and I hadn’t saved a copy of it. I spent a long time on it, so I thought the draft would’ve been auto-saved, but it wasn’t. Anybody know how this would’ve happened? I don’t have a copy in my drafts.

@Darkfrost you clicked on the same tab for finding references - as in you clicked away from the article you made? Because that is normal wikiHow is isn’t saving your text in the input field, it does save normally in the drafts. The best way to prevent is to make your article in a text editor and copy it into your article page.

Yes this is the only way. You have to make an article in text or word doc and save it before you submit an article.
