I have started work on this, but it occurs to me that I don’t know enough about woodwork to actually do this safely. Hoping that there are a few others, like @BR

l looked, and besides recognizing it had nothing to do with Model Airplanes (the category), it makes no sense to me. There are plenty of steps, and from the images, I can see what is being done, but what is being cut to make what is a complete mystery. Short of the fact that I can’t order the steps in sequence so that the images can be used as a guideline I am not sure where to go with it> but it is a beautiful project, and certainly worth the effort to fix!

I have given it one quick try here http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Make-Your-Own-Try-Plane&diff=13439437&oldid=13438625
but would expect the author to need to make corrections eventually. I also don’t expect it is quite ready for the format tag to be removed…

Bah! I cannot even understand the article. But it is OK, I suppose?

That’s the problem…but I am sure we can figure it out among us.
I edited an article from this author when I first joined wH and, if this article is like the other, all the information is there. The project just needs to be properly visualized, the steps juggled and the language clarified (dumbed down) for someone who does not have sap in their veins, i.e., does not sleep in a wood (or metal) shop. Anyway, I will give it a shot and have marked the article inuse. Give me a bit and I will see if I can mess it up entirely. *edit
I did what I could, but I could not figure out Part 1, Step 7. I am almost certain if someone made a model out of cardboard and did the marking, the instructions would be correct. I am not that strong at visualizing geometric shapes, so I failed to see what was going on. Somebody, I am sure, though, can handle this easily. Also, I did not do anything with Part 7 or to make “Things You’ll Need” more usable.
For anyone who works on this, the cited source is a great help. @Ttrimm
could you please make an effort to select better thread titles. If a thread is in Collaboration Corner, a title like “Another collaboration” gives no additional information and is really no help when trying to select the proper thread from a list of titles.

- I finished all that I can do (with Anna’s help). There is one little layout section that I cannot visualize here
, but, I suppose, any woodworker worth their salt would snap right through that layout. I just don’t get it, though and would welcome anyone who can rephrase that properly to make it more easily visualized and understood. Also, maybe someone can check over the entire article and clean up any errors I introduced. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Make-Your-Own-Try-Plane&diff=13472318&oldid=13440641
