Wow, how right you are Ella!
One thing I’d like to point out is that the DSM groups personality disorders into three clusters. Cluster A includes paranoid, schizoid, and schizotypal. Cluster B includes antisocial, borderline, histrionic, and narcissistic. Cluster C includes avoidant, dependent, and obsessive-compulsive. What if we organize this section as:`- Mental Disorders
- Personality Disorders
- Cluster A Personality Disorders
- Cluster B Personality Disorders
- Cluster C Personality Disorders
`Also, in regards to the articles about dissociative identity disorder (DID), this disorder is classified as a dissociative disorder rather than a personality disorder, so I wouldn’t group these ones here. (Perhaps under the main “Mental Disorders” category since there aren’t enough articles about DID to make a standalone sub-cat?) I’m in full support and would love for this to be eventually carried out.

This sounds like a great idea! Nice job on that list- looks like a lot of work.
@Illneedasaviour
You seem to know more about DID than I do, so yeah, we can put it under Mental Disorders.
(It probably showed up in my search because it used to be named Multiple Personality Disorder.) The cluster idea is a nice one. I don’t think that most wikiHow editors would understand it, though, so perhaps we could refer to the clusters by what they include? Personality Disorders -Paranoid Schizoid and Schizotypal Disorders -Antisocial Borderline Histrionic and Narcissistic Disorders -Avoidant Dependent and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorders (wow that’s long) You really know your stuff!

I’ve been a student of psychology for 3 years and just recently finished a class on psychopathology
I think your idea makes a lot of sense! We have categories with pretty long names, so that shouldn’t be too big of an issue.
That’s really neat! This’ll help the category look neat and make it easy for editors to know how to organize the articles. (Hopefully nobody will confuse OCD for OCPD.)
This should make it a lot easier to navigate mental illnesses and personality disorders on wikiHow.
