Hello all! I was inspired earlier so I decided to take over running the NAB practice test. A document designed to coach users mostly those desiring to become a new article booster. But it’s open to other interpretations. (Although it is gearedtowards aspiring NABers. New NABers and/or people who want to improve their editing skills arw welcome to try!

To check it out and/or possibly take the quiz check it out here:  https://goo.gl/forms/yLdaaD5b4p7fsPO03 Just please don’t submit it unless you’re serious about being coached.

I’d like to give a big thank you to @Adelaide for coming up with the original idea and passing the torch and @Anna for helping me develop the new idea and proof checking everything. You guys are fab. :)

@TheHelper101 I know you expressed interest in this on the other thread.

Hi! I’m not becoming a NAB, but I am taking the test to improve my editintg skills.

Thanks!  I hope this helps me out!

Thanks for the test! I’m on article 9 right now and it seems like it’s empty except for the article. There isn’t a space to put my answer or editing.

This is a great idea! Thanks Artemi7 for telling me about this!

Perfect! I never have passed yet and this will really help! I want to be a booster so that good articles can be promoted!

Thank you for improving the practice for New Article Boost, @InfernoTerra . I haven’t taken it (since I’m already a booster), but I hope this helps aspiring boosters, and as always, feel free to ask us if you have any questions.

Can we try this even if we’re not a new Booster and boost pretty regularly, solely to defy the orders of it being practice? >

My thoughts, too!

@Aslamsisjd That’s perfectly okay! Look forward to seeing your answers!

@Artemi7 Oops! That was a last minute add on before I went to bed so I might have flubbed the design up. Go ahead and try it now. You should be able to edit your answer. If not, don’t fret you can just tell me what you’d do when I email you.

@ Galactic-Radiance  and @Batreeq Yes. Feel free to take it. It might be a little challenge to see if you can spot everything, and maybe you can give me some tips on how to improve it or things to add.

Do you think maybe the test is a little long? I started it yesterday but I only got through half because it takes a long time.:expressionless:

@Riley-Next The real NAB test process takes a lot of time and dedication and requires boosting many more than 9 articles - many, many more. So this doesn’t seem so bad for anyone aspiring to that role and responsibility:wink:Cheers to Stephen for providing this helpful resource and service to folks!

@InfernoTerra My article about identifying buntings is in the test!

Ah, okay.

I’ll be honest - it’s kind of hard to “boost” in this format. The content of the articles gets crushed and it feels like reading a giant wall of text rather than an article, which makes it harder to catch errors and such!

@Midnight-Dreams   Yeah, I saw that once I was looking at new pages made on wikiHow.

@Riley-Next I agree with Anna. 9 questions is actually a bit short. Considering you need to do a lot more to pass the initial booster test and then even more to pass the trial. It’s not meant to be ‘hard’ but it is somewhat of a commitment.

@Galactic-Radiance Hmm. Any suggestions? It is kind of challenging but I don’t think overly so?

@Midnight-Dreams So it is. I just picked random ones off the new pages. ^^

@InfernoTerra I just submitted the test without writing anything and I can’t get back to edit it, so I hope that’s OK. Also, when I went back to edit it before I closed the tab, I got stuck on one of the pages where it said that my answer was too long.

I figured out my first point, so disregard that. On the second article (when editing), it says that my response is too long and won’t let me move ahead to edit my other ones.

@Artemi7 Sorry about that! I’ll tweak the docs to reflect this but if it’s too long you can go ahead and just put the pieces of the article that you would edit instead of just c/ping the whole article. I have the night off so if all goes well I’ll review and get back to on your responses tonight. (And everyone else who might have submitted sicne the last time I checked)
