They are too greedy, everything on there is money grabbing, you can’t do very much at all without paying with REAL CASH. Used to be able to get cheap vouchers at places like Target, Walmart, etc but they have now risen in price and some shops stopped doing this altogether. Also used to be able to put in secret codes to get rewards but not anymore, they have shut that down. Everything on Neopets cost either a butt load of Neopoints or REAL money!

It’s quite time consuming, I don;t have much free time to waste on it anymore so I quit. Especially on a slow laptop

Also virtually all the minigames cause my laptop to crash, my laptop can’t handle them very well at all! Only a few of them work and they are quite sluggish. Also it would take hours upon hours upon hours of playing them in order to get at least a decent amount of Neopoints! Even the wheels are rubbish… you have to be EXTREMELY lucky to win something actually worth while on there…and just like I said earlier, everything has a HUGE price on it!
The Battleground/PvP? Not worth it anymore… Most players don’t even accept your invites anymore (or they are inactive), or they’re cheaters and the fights are unfair! Not that many active players anymore and you can see why… The CP fighters (like the punchbag bob guy) don’t give you decent rewards anymore… not worth the trouble! And the events? Just as I told you, these guys are greedy pigs! You have to use real money to really do anything on the events except during Christmas and Yooyuball tournament (can’t remember what it was called).
The yooyuball one is a matter of sheer skill and luck in order to win big on there, the more point your team scores, the more you can get out of the shop but that’s only if your team is in the top 5. Anything higher than that and you are not going to get much out of it.
The Christmas even is pretty much the only good thing in the entire Neopets universe… the stuff you get out of this are more decent and tend to sell for a good price in your shop! But that’s only if you time it right when the sales are the highest… you can do this for any event but check before doing it; if you time it too late or too early, you’ll miss out on a profit! Since this can only happen twice a year without having to fork out real money, it’s just not worth it anymore!
There is also the freebie stuff… but that’s mostly food for your pets… and some extra stuff that is not worth it! You will need MILLIONS of Neopoints in order to really play it…so yeah you can see the problem.
Neopets used to be a fun place… but it has died of a sorry death
Sorry but this is all too true, take it from me; a Neopets veteran who has had enough of it.

This is actually a current problem… its STILL that way! The good times were a looong time ago I am afraid…the greediness and all that other stuff I mentioned has been happening for several years now… My advice? Don’t bother playing on Neopets anymore
