I think life would be way harder without the internet. I mean, we’re already very used to it now, so it would be very difficult for internet-obsessed people (and people that rely on it for work and school) to stop using it. Imagine that we had to handwrite all homework and documents, go to physical meetings for work, read all recent news only if you have a newspaper (hopefully the news you are finding is on the front page; it would take you a while to flip through the pages to find what you are looking for), and physically meet up with friends every time.
So, the internet should still exist; it’s harmful social media and gossipers that should be removed.
Yes, I guess that’s true. There are always multiple sides to a discussion. We would have a really difficult time trying to work and learn without the internet during the COVID pandemic if the internet didn’t exist. We wouldn’t be able to learn as fast either; online sources wouldn’t be there, and finding information (e.g. the answer to a math problem, a lesson on money management, a column about the symptoms of a disease) with a book would take longer than simply searching it up online.
