Since this game’s original thread sank, and has not been commented on for 2 months, I figured that I would bring it back.

What to do:

Rules:

No double posting (adding or subtracting from the number, and then adding or subtracting from the number again before someone else posts, while using the same account).
Skipping numbers is a common mistake in number games like this one, but doing it purposely for illegitimate reasons is not allowed.

The Windows fans will win if they manage to count up to 1,000, whereas the OSX fans will win if they manage to count down to -1,000.
