I just wanted to ask community approval on this personal coaching template before creating it. <l>Title: User:Adelaide1230/Merge</l><l><b> Content:
Hello {{BASEPAGENAME}}! Thank you for starting a new article on wikiHow ({{PAGENAME}})! I, and other editors, highly appreciate that you put your time and effort into building the world’s largest how-to manual.
I noticed that the title of the article you started is very similar to another title on wikiHow ({{PAGENAME}}), but has unique content. Do you think you can add your information to the existing page (which is also called merging the articles?) The reason why I’m asking this is because the information you provided is useful to readers, and it will be available to more people since the existing page has more views. You can merge the articles by opening both pages for editing, copying your information, and pasting it into the existing article. However, if you want me to do the merge for you, feel free to ask me, but people will think I was the one who provided the information rather than you.
Anyway, feel free to message me by talk page when you’re finished so I can redirect the title you started to the title of the existing page, or if there’s anything I can help you with! Have a great day!
Any way I can change or re-word this?</b></l>

Why can’t {{merge}} be used?
I don’t think the template is used on talk pages?

If you use {{merge|Article created by them|Merge article target}} on a person’s talk page, it’ll give them this: Hi _____. Thank you for starting a new article on wikiHow! I noticed that a title you started (How to _______) is very similar to a title we already have: How to _______. It looks like they might be duplicates! On wikiHow, we consider two articles to be duplicates when their titles are practically interchangeable (even if the content is different). When we find a duplicate, we then work to make make sure all the information ends up consolidated on one page, typically the one with the simpler, more commonly searched title. That way, our readers can find everything about that particular topic in one place. If you agree that the title you started is a duplicate, you can help by adding your how-to advice to the other page. The duplicate page will eventually get redirected to the other page, and we don’t want to lose all the great information you provided. If you don’t think your article is actually a duplicate, feel free to leave a note on the discussion page (which you can find here) explaining why, and let me know, too. Sometimes we make mistakes, and we definitely don’t want to merge it if it is different! If you have any questions or need help with anything, just reply to this message. Thanks again for contributing!
^ Beat me to it. Same message with {{nfd|dup}}
What about {{merge_nab}}? Is that only for new article boosters since the template says nab?
Which stands for “New Article boost” or “New article booster”

Also there are a few grammatical mishaps c:
It actually doesn’t mention NAB.
Where are the grammatical mishaps?
