So I’ve noticed a good deal of discussions based around venting about what makes us angry. While this may be helpful, it can also be somewhat counterproductive, so here, let’s just talk about things in our day that made us smile, things we like, et cetera.
It’s a nice thread TetheredAvian74
. So, well my friends make me laugh by their never-ending jokes in school. At home, my sister helps me in smiling. When, I am alone I am always hit by wonderfully brilliant jokes. So, it keeps me always laughing and smiling.
The reason for my smile is interacting with people who do not have a problem with me. I find children belonging to this group and wikiHowians.
So earlier today my best friend and I had a bit of a disagreement, and later talked it out, along with clarifying a few other misunderstandings, so that may sound kind of melodramatic, but it really made me happy to clear the air.
i like to be happy and smile always
Meditating is also a way to be happy. I didn’t tried it but you can.
Baby sloths are so freaking ADORABLE.
^Haha. This one is working out.
Things that makes us happy? that’s a very big question…
First let us define happiness:
Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being
defined by positive or pleasant
emotions ranging from contentment
to intense joy. Philosophers and religious thinkers often define happiness in terms of living a good life
, or flourishing, rather than simply as an emotion.
This means that happiness is customized per person and does not have a set of rules to be followed.
Second, let us name some things that makes us happy in our daily lives:
Reading a book, meeting a best friend, being in a relationship, Meditating and Praying, Reading the Bible, Working out, Listening to music, Watching a movie, hanging out with friends, Shopping and constantly buying new things, Making love, Having a good family, Owning a pet, Walking in nature, Smiling, Helping others in need, Building and improving self-confidence and self-esteem, Doing outdoor activities such as walking, biking and hiking, Going to the beach, and tons of other activities…
Amazing forum. Great idea
