In response to the previous forum thread titled, “ Thoughts on changes to acceptable user page content ,” please be aware that a formal User Page Policy proposal has been developed and is now ready for community voting.

As a reminder, the overarching purpose of the policy proposal is to prevent abusive edits from spambots and/or commercial advertising organizations that exploit user pages. The policy proposal includes the proposed policy, explanation of the type of prohibited content, and how violations of the proposed User Page Policy may be addressed.

Voting on this policy is now open as of 3:00 am GMT on November 30, 2022, and it will remain open for a period of 15 calendar days ending at 3:00 am GMT on December 15, 2022.
