I have been watching a lot of the articles in quality review to see if there are any I am knowledgeable in and I can help out on, and I have noticed there are some very good articles written 2 months ago that have complete and detailed information, pictures, weaved links and they are good enough to be Rising Stars or Featured, yet they seem to be stuck in article review. Is there any reason for this?

Do you have any examples? It’s usually in article review (demoted and hidden from public view) because of lack of information, format issues, or something that needs to be fixed. But if you feel there are some great articles that deserve promotion, you could tell a Booster or admin to look at it. We could always promote it by going straight to the article :)

Some articles just haven’t been improved well enough that the Article Review Team forgets about it; it’s not in the queue anymore. However, there’s nothing stopping the article from getting improved.
Correction: us Boosters don’t “forget” about the page. We just boost so many articles that it’s pretty unrealistic to expect us to regularly go back and check the old ones unless asked. I’d estimate we get at least 100 new articles a day, and that number skyrockets if we have college students publishing articles. There are over 33000 demoted articles at the moment, which would be a little overwhelming
Like Caeiia said, though, if you think a page is ready for promotion, you can leave a note on the Article Review Team
page and a Booster will get back to you when possible!
There is also a new project, which I’ll link at the end, which aims to get articles in quality review promoted.
