We are getting more and more articles that are linking to, or referring to slideshare. I think it is an alternative to goarticles and such. Maybe spam connection 2.0?? Any thoughts or opinions?

The general consensus with creating the content farm list was that any source that popped up frequently on the copyviobot radar would be added, but our beloved Dave has always been the conscience for that page, and there never was a ‘‘set policy’’ of when to add a source, although ‘‘5 new articles per day’’ was mentioned as a benchmark for determining when a site should/could be added. I don’t see many slideshare content submissions, but that is the hangup of not having a single set of eyes (Dave’s) viewing every single copyvio issue. The random assortment passing through recent changes doesn’t give any one patroller (and I am assuming a single booster) the data needed to determine whether a content farm threshhold has been crossed.

That’s the threshold? On a random time to play review/delete catch-up, the most I probably have seen is 3-4 a week… just enough to tick you off and put the site on the review list.

I actually think I might remember that number being tossed out, but I would think 5 in a lifetime would be too many… I will see if I can turn up the forum discussion that evolved the orginal content farm submission page. In light of not having Dave’s guidance, it is possible we could also decide a new/revised/or updated statistic or threshold for adding a source to the content farm page. Dave checks in from time to time, if he wants to weigh in later, we can take his advice when he does.
