Being in NAB lala land, I don’t see a lot of edits, (or names), from up and coming editors. I am curious as to who is thinking about adminship. If you don’t want to post here, you can send me an email. Basically, I would like a chance to ‘read up’ on you. http://www.wikihow.com/User:Ttrimm

…Maybe in another year…I’ve already gotten a feel for wikiHow policy, but two months is too short. Perhaps I should start with the NAB test.

I highly recommend it for any potential adminers

I’m very interested! Contact me through my talkpage.

I stood up in last election and found some weak points of mine. So I’ll improve them first, then I’ll stand up again in admin election.

And for those not familiar with admin elections or qualifications, I would recommend the following reading: http://www.wikihow.com/Act-as-a-wikiHow-Admin http://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-wikiHow-Admin I’d also be happy to answer any other questions potential candidates may have. Just ping my talk page with them.

Great addition @Loiswade42 !!

Yep, same here! Feel free to ask me if you have any questions! =]

I’d love to be an administrator! Thanks @Loiswade , the articles really helped.

I would like love to be an admin, but I’m not sure if I’m active enough on wikiHow to run.

That’s what I asked, and Maluniu answered.“wikiHow is entirely a volunteer project. No matter if you’re a typical editor, a new article booster, or an administrator, in real life events, such as education, jobs, family, always comes first:wink:wikiHow administrators are the people whom others look up to for advice and are voted by existing administrators for their maturity and responsibility skills/characteristics. You can take a week off to study for school exams, and it wouldn’t hurt your administrator status.”

Actually, I cannot become an admin. Id rather be an editor.

No, I guess not, but that’s the right spirit!!

I would pesonally like to be an admin, however, I prefer if people would be decently discreet about it, not posting every I’m a admin. I mean One or two, fine, but six threads about the new admins? I mean their just like every other person, just with different abilities, right? So yeah anyway I’d be fine with becoming an admin but if I don’t, big deal, I’ll just brush up on editing and try again.

The KEY thing to remember is that adminship is NOT a trophy. You can do most things an admin does as a normal user. Admins simply have the ability to make changes permanent. even though I’m an admin, I rarely use the “three buttons”. In fact, I can’t remember when I last did. Adminship comes with a responsibility to not abuse the privileges. You are not more important than a normal user.

*chuckle*

I totally agree, even though I’m not an admin, yet…

OK, so: @Metsguy234 is interested in running. @IamSH is interested in running, but wants to improve weak points. @Puppies568 is interested in running. @Grahamster is interested in running. Plus me, Twoscompany. Anyone else?

I’m not. I’m 99.99% sure I’m running in the Feb ones.

I will try, even though my account isn’t old enough.
