This is not a bug. It’s the “Rising-star-discussion-msg-2” template, which did this, because this template uses {{PAGENAME}} hook. PAGENAME hook just displayes the name of the page the hook is in. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Template:Rising-star-discussion-msg-2&action=edit

- This template is not displaying the way you probably want it to. Maybe you can take a screenshot of the notification on your talk page and put that in as an image on your user page?

Oh yea, Hinni put that on because I was the one who gave her the first RS (I’m guessing) so she was happy to put it:) I didn’t boost her userpage.

As Krystle said, a screenshot of the RS template posted on the userpage might be better.

Oh thanks… I thought of investigating more, but the black box hides the edit and other buttons… Anyway, thanks guys!

hey Guys I only just saw this thread. I really don’t know why that template is there. Before the website changed I use to have right down in my user page one similar rising star notification like that for my first rising star but I was going to delete it after I received some more. I don’t know how to get rid of the template. I think it came somehow when the website was redesigned. If someone could help me to get rid of it I would be really grateful.

I use to be able to edit normally but now I have to go to history and then edit to see everything. I can’t see any way to get rid of the template though.

. It’s being triggered by the spam filter and apparently not allowing you to edit. The link is located in the very last section of your user page. If you edit by subsection, you’re able to edit, but to be able to fully edit the remainder of the page, you’ll need to remove it otherwise pushing that link through the spam filter which stops your edit without fixing!
