Exactly as it says. Two rules though: 1. Attribute your quotes to the right person. If you don’t know who quoted it, just say “unknown”. You can also quote fictional characters too. 2. Try not to get into a heated debate about any quote at all. Those are pretty much it for the ground rules. I’ll start: “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there’s footprints on the moon.”—Paul Brandt

“Always be yourself…unless you can be a unicorn.” Unknown (I think)

I have more than this, but, my favs:

“If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animal are better of than a lot of humans.” -James Herriot

“I could do terrible things to people who dump unwanted animal by the road side.” -James Herriot

“Cats are connoisseurs of comfort.” -James Herriot

“I hope to make people realize how totally helpless animals are, how dependent on us, trusting as a child must that we will be kind and take care of all their needs.” -James Herriot

“No outfit is complete without cat hair.” -Unknown

“What greater gift than the love of a cat.” -James Herriot

“With the qualities of cleanliness, affection, patience, dignity, and courage that cats have, how many of us, I ask you, would be capable of becoming cats?” -Fernand Mery

I like that first one.

“Your uniqueness is your strength. Remember that. Don’t mold yourself to others or to what others think. You’re an individual. You’re special.”- Austin Carlile

Another good quote.

Just one question: Who’s James Herriot?

He was a semi-famous scottish vet.  He wrote lost of books about the animals he treated. You should try them.  I have a nice hard cover “James Herriots Cat Stories”.

Cool.

VERY cool! I love his books!

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.”—Margerat Mead I like this one because it makes me think of wikiHow in its beginning years.

+1

“There is nothing more deceptive than a common fact” -Arthur Conan Doyle

“Wake up and create a purpose for yourself. Don’t ask the meaning of life, ask yourself the meaning of each give day.” - Austin Carlile

“Never trust everything that you read on the internet” - Abraham Lincoln

“Try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud” - Maya Angelou

“Time spent with cats is never wasted” - Sigmund Freud

Lincoln had INTERNET!?

Nope! Hence the content of the quote.

Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. Martin Luther King, Jr. James Herriot is probably the most famous vet in the world. 91 episodes of the British TV show All Creature Great and Small, based on his career, were originally broadcast between 1978 and 1990. He wrote books for children and adults and his former vetinary surgery is now a museum. The BBC created another series, of just three parts, about his younger life in 2011. More than semi famous IMO.

WOW GTG TAPES!!! I own a tape player.

Is the first on supposed to be ironic?

An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language. ― Martin Buber
