SOS: Save Our Spotify

The Spotify Category seems to be in several levels of disrepair and broken-ness.

For example, this is extremely unsuggested by Spotify & the Community Team (I don’t even know if this is possible anymore). The screenshots here are of the old UI. Country codes for the Spotify sites are included (you shouldn’t include them since Spotify will automatically redirect non-country coded links to the correct country i.e. /au for Australia, /us for US, /ph for Phillipines) in this article . This article uses terms like ‘try to’ even though there are no current issues with x-ing out of Spotify on Windows.

Got two things right now that the teams at Spotify have brought up with me:

https://www.wikihow.com/Sync-a-Device-With-Spotify can probably be merged into login with Spotify, since syncing is default.

Gonna give my perspective on these real quick:

https://www.wikihow.com/Use-Spotify-With-Facebook - yep, I don’t think that’s possible anymore so I slapped a {{historical}} tag on it
https://www.wikihow.com/Turn-off-Spotify-Notifications-and-Emails - You and I already talked a bit on this one - I’ve since sent a screenshot request to wikiVis.
https://www.wikihow.com/Use-Spotify - looks like another editor’s already taken care of this
https://www.wikihow.com/Close-Spotify-from-the-Taskbar-on-a-Windows-8-Computer - I think this is talking more about if it won’t close through the “X” button, so personally I don’t see any reason to get rid of that “Try to.” I could be wrong though.
https://www.wikihow.com/Upgrade-from-Free-to-Premium-on-Spotify - rmv’d those screenshots for now though haven’t done anything else since someone with a credit card would have to test out that article.
https://www.wikihow.com/Sync-a-Device-With-Spotify - I could see the first method being merged, but the second talks more about listening to music between devices rather than logging in. “Use Spotify” would probably be a better candidate to merge to since that also kinda covers both methods.
