Every time I try to use the spell checker app, I get an error message: “An error occurred while trying to get another article. Please try again later.” I am using Safari on an iPad 2.

Try reloading the page, that usually fixes the problem, @Adelaide1230
@Hinni
I’m not sure this tool was built to work with mobile devices

I have this problem too. The messege appears after I check three or two articles only.

Happens to me too from my work pc
@Krystle
and everyone else…I’m getting this too in all my browsers, and it’s not just IE 11 that it happens to(it happened in IE 10, 9, 8 etc. on Windows 8 and Vista, and when I used to use the Spellchecker on my (running in full-version mode) my iPod touch both (4th gen and 2nd gen). And sometimes it happens after every few. It forces me to refresh the page, as it “disables” the No and Yes buttons. There’s a lot of work that needs to be done, it seems to me to be on that app, and that one’s one of them. And sometimes it even comes back to the same one in the queue as the one I first saw when I refreshed the screen, or having skipped it and seeing this same article. So regardless, the same one is present when I refresh. Once and awhile, the skip button stays present, but that’s not often, and I can SOMETIMES get around it to one other article, without having to loose my place, but more often it’s got those buttons disabled.

Thanks guys. This is an older post initially, so we do know about this and have it in the bug system for a fix - in the meantime reloading or going to the Dashboard and back into the Spellchecker seems to do the trick most of the time, but sorry for the frustration of needing to do a workaround! There’s a possibility the tool will behave a bit differently after the upgrade anyway, but if not, the bug ticket will likely be seen to after the bulk of the upgrade engineering is over. Thanks for the reminder!
