Hi everyone! I assume you guys think that this is based on Spell Check… Of course it is! When Spell Checking was down 2 days ago… I noticed that it must have been about spelling errors not showing up in Spell Check. Or, a lot of words in the dictionary were incorrect spelling. Yesterday (9/21/12), I saw the Spell Check up to 26,000… Today (9/22/12), it is up to 62,000. Just trying to inform you that I may be Spell Checking more often to bring down the Spelling errors. Hope you guys help too! Thank you whoever found all of the Spelling errors! I’d be happy to fix them all! Have a great day, Sappires

Great @Destroyer365365 ! Well, got to run, Spell Checking to do!

It’s a program. I have always wondered why it changes back and forth though.

I’m relatively new, so started off checking “spellations”.:smiley:Early on, I noticed some other “minor” editing was necessary, and discovered the “Edit While Spell Checking” option, and started to use it when needed. Perhaps I’ll learn the answer in time, but, when I simply “Edit” an article, then Publish, the changes show up immediately. Publishing after an Edit While Spell Checking, apparently doesn’t display the changes right away. Should they? Once I’ve finished, I get another random article, and don’t see that one again. Should the changes show up? Should they not? Am I doing something wrong?? thanx, Art

@Grandad1 When you publish a Quick Edit from the Spell Check app, it is published immediately as will be seen if you open the article in a separate tab. That version of the article will show the changes you just made and published. If you click on the history tab you will see your name in the history and with an edit summary _Quick edit while using the SpellChecker tool_The data in the Spell Check app likely will not update, though. I just refresh the tab to bring up another article. I am not really sure how the bot works on this app, but someone will likely be along shortly to provide more insight on this.
