Ok so i thought i would try this out, basically you have to come up with a story and i will judge them in a week. You can do parts if you want a long story. Good luck!

This sounds fun:wink:

Should I post a story now?

Yeah, whenever!

Ok

Here goes:

My Life: From My Human Point of View

By Aurora Astralis

Prologue:

‘Where are the ropes?’

‘Over there, Mother. Hurry! I feel it coming on!’

‘Oh dear, oh dear; what will it be this time?’

‘You might not want to find out mother. Are those knots secure? They feel very secure. Ouch.’

‘Sorry Dearest. Yes, I think so.’

*Heavy breathing* ‘M-mother, it’s c-coming. Run!

Chapter 1. My Story

I never wanted to be this way. It was never my choice. It was some twisted magical being’s decision to make me this way.

They never thought to ask the poor girl they were casting a spell on first, did they? Of course not. Witches or gods never do.

What exactly is  ‘this way’, you ask? Well. Let me tell you my story.

When I was born, I seemed completely normal. The strange things didn’t start right away. Then one day, when I was five years old, it started.

It was in the evening, and I was sleeping peacefully in my bed, when it happened. I transformed into a creature of nightmares.

That’s where it began.

I wasn’t always transformed into terrible, frightening things. Every now and then it was something more along the lines of a mermaid or a unicorn. It seemed completely random. There was no predicting it.

We just had to take the precaution of tieing me to a chair before the transformation while everybody got to a safe distance.

We went through a lot of chairs…

The Transformation always happened at precisely 9:00pm, and ended at 11:00pm. Completely punctual every time. That was the useful thing about it.

But, as you can imagine, little else was useful. I was never able to do things like go to sleepovers or stay up late with a bowl of popcorn for a movie night.

My parents had to be very careful to keep my secret. It was almost impossible at times. But they somehow managed it.

Chapter 2. My Adventures…

That’s my beginning. How is it? Should I continue?

That is great @TheYoungWriter ! I love it, and please please please continue it, i can not wait to hear what will happen next. I want to find out if anyone put a spell on her and if so, who and what? And what is her name? (By the way, those are what im wondering about, and thats what i like about it, it makes we think ‘what will happen next?’ All of that in a nutshell, I love how you have a prologue and the theme of the story is great!

Thank you! Ok, I will.Wow, that is really helpful to know your thoughts on it. Thanks!

Chapter 2. My Adventures

It’s very frightening to know something is going to happen to you, but not know what exactly. I always knew when I was going to transform, but I didn’t know if I would turn into a sparkly squirrel or a chimera.

The other disturbing thing was that, if I was transformed into something terrible, I still had my own mind, but the instincts and feelings of what I had been turned into. If the creature wanted to go and murder someone, I could prevent myself from going out to hunt, but if I saw a person, there was nothing else my true self could do.

I had always been tenderhearted, so, though I hadn’t hurt anybody yet, I was sick with fear of the night when I finally, inevitably, would.

This thought always haunted me. I had terrible nightmares of it  happening. The dreams always ended with me transforming back to myself, standing over the body of my victim or victims, hands bloody.

                                                                                    . . .

I have kept a diary for a long time. I will copy down my entries for you now, detailing my feelings, experiences, and adventures.

This is going to be an interesting story contest if I am the only one entering =\

Thats alright

Another great chapter, keep it up!

Well i am hoping someone else comes in or, yes it will be lol.

Yeah =\

Day 1.

That  day was interesting.

I felt the usual violent shift inside my chest and stomach, a nauseating stretching and s shrinking feeling on the outside of my skin, and there I was. A horse.

I was confused. Wasn’t I always transformed into mythical creatures? Right now it seemed like just a normal creature.

I felt no disgusting urges, so I tapped at my room door politely with my dainty hoof. My mother cautiously opened it. I neighed at her in thanks and trotted to the front door to be let out as well. With a wave of my tail, I was out in the bracing night air.

I decided to gallop to the park.

Luckily, my coat was midnight black, so I had no trouble in blending into the shadows when humans crossed my path.

When I finally made it to the park, after all that trotting, I was thirsty. I walked over to the water of the stream that ran through the park. As I looked into it, I saw myself changing again. It was quite unexpected.

When it was done, I was a beautiful young woman with long, tangled hair, dressed in a sealskin, of all things. I very much hoped no one would see me.

I was still extremely thirsty, though, so I stepped my still dainty, human-looking foot deeper into the stream, and then I changed again . This time there was more blubber than I knew what to do with. I had changed into a seal!

Goodness  thought I. I have never heard of this mythical creature. This is not what I expected at all.

I drank in my seal form, which felt very strange, and then I wiggled myself out of the stream again. Whoops, I was a young woman again. I walked a few steps. I didn’t change into a mare. I put my hands on the ground at the same time as my feet. Voila, horse.

@TheYoungWriter You win this contest, however it was a VERY hard choice to decide as ALL the entries were amazing ; )

Haha XD

Thank you much, though I have decided this story isn’t going much of anywhere. I’ll probably abandon it. It’s pretty childish. It was very fun to write though, and I never would have if you hadn’t prompted it! Thank you!
